On 28 May there took place signing of the hand-over report and passing over of the keys to the sports hall accomplished within the confines of the second phase of extension of the shopping-entertainment center Galeria Echo in Kielce.

Since that moment the university has become the occupant and the owner of the building.

The sports hall has an area of almost 3 500 sq. m. It shall serve didactic purposes and organization of tournaments in various sport disciplines. On the sports field of the size of approximately 40 x 43,5 meters players will be able to play handball and also arrange two volleyball or basketball pitches or tennis courts. In the building there is also, among others, comfortable complex of changing rooms and sports shooting range. The auditorium of the hall accomodates approximately 500 persons. The building is connected with a multilevel car park of Galeria Echo by a glazed catwalk at the level of the first floor.

The realization of the hall began in June of 2009 and ended at the beginning of May. The building was realized by the company Fakt Budownictwo from Kielce.
