In reponse to the request of Caritas from Kalisz, for support in collection of building meterials, Echo Investment has handed over a few hundred square meters of window woodwork and doors.
Woodwork elements of full value come from demolished building of the former PKS bus station in Kalisz, in stead of which Amber Gallery shopping-entertainment center shall be erected. Thus obtained materials shall be used to build the House of Life - Women’s Shelter.
Priest Ryszard Krakowski, vice-director of Caritas od Kalisz Diocese wrote with thanks: „Deciding to hand over windows and doors for the needs of the House of Life – shelter for the homeless women, you help the most needy. Without generosity of many people of good will, we wouldn’t be able to undertake adaptation of the Shelter’s rooms.”
Renovated and extended House of Life is a center offering shelter to women wronged by fate, and also help in preparing to independent life through spiritual, psychological and legal support.

Galeria Amber is a 4-storeyed shopping-entertainment center of the leasable area of approxmately 32.000 square meters. This modern building shall be constructed at the junction of Górnośląska street and Amber Route, in the premises of the former PKS bus station in Kalisz. Approximately 150 shops and service points shall be located in the Gallery. A 5-screen multiplex cinema is also planned in the center. The car traffic in the Gallery shall be served by an underground car park offering approximately 1.200 parking places.
The architectural conception of the Amber Gallery is being elaborated in Ultra Architects design office of Poznań.
The commencement of construction works is scheduled for the II half of 2010 and the completion - for the turn of 2011 and 2012.
