Electro World, one of the biggest Hungarian networks of electronic stores, shall open its salon in the multifunctional Mundo center in Budapest.

Electro World  - the main leaseholder of the electronic branch in the multifinctional Mundo center shall open its store at the „+1” level, of the area of 2 800 square meters. The first shop of this network was opened in 2002 in Budaörs city in Hungary (despite a similar name, this company has nothing to do with present in Poland network „Electro World” belonging to the commercial group Mix Electronics S.A.). In spring of 2009, Electro World shops were purchased by the Romanian company Domo, the owner of 130 stores in Romania of the total area of 75 000 sq. m. and 10 shops in Hungary. By the end of 2009 this operator is going to open further big electronic stores in commercial centers in Budapest and Eger.

The mulifunctional MUNDO center shall be erected in the centre of one of the biggest and richest Budapest districts - Zuglo.

MUNDO complex shall combine commercial, entertainment, service, office and recreational functions. The architecture of the new center harmoniously connects and appropriately accentuates particular functions of the project. The complex consists of three office buildings, the building of the commercial center and Zuglo district town hall.

MUNDO total area shall equal approximately 150 000 sq. m., and the gross leasable area - 51 000 sq. m. Approximately 240 shops shall operate in the center, and clients shall have at their disposal approximately 1 700 parking places. The project’s designer is the Polish-Hungarian company MOFO-BH Épitész Studio Kft.

The multifunctional Mundo center shall open in 2012.
