At its last session the Kalisz City Council voted through the local plan of spatial development allowing the realization of Amber Gallery.

Amber Gallery planned by Echo investment is a 4 storeyed shopping-entertainment center of the leasable area of approximately  32.000 sq. m. This modern building shall be constructed at Górnośląska street and Trasa Bursztynowa (the Amber Route), on the area of the former bus station in Kalisz. Approximately 150 shops and service points shall be located in the Gallery. Also a 5 screen multiplex cinema is planned in the center’s offer. Car traffic in the Gallery shall be handled by an underground car park offering about 1.200 parking places.

The architectural concept of Amber Gallery is being created in Ultra Architects designing office from Poznań.

The commencement of construction works is planned for the IInd half of 2010 and completion of the realization – for the Ist half of 2012.
