Echo Investment purchased in Cracow city-centre a plot for construction of an A class office park.
On the land plot of the area of approximately 3,5 hectare in Cracow, at 29 Listopada and Opolska streets, a new investment is planned, of a modern office project, of the lease area exceeding 50 thousand sq. m.
– Cracow is not only an important centre of culture and science, but also a significant centre of business, enjoying tremendous interest of the companies, which settle their seats and branch offices here. That’s why we decided to realize the second office project in this city – says Mr. Waldemar Lesiak, director of the department of offices and hotels’ projects in Echo Investment. – We are convinced that our investment shall be an answer to ever-growing demand for modern office areas in Cracow – he adds.
Commencement of realization of the Ist phase of the project is planned for the Ist half of 2009, and its completion – for the IInd half of 2010.
The second office project prepared by Echo Investment in Cracow is a 7-storey head office of Fortis Bank – an A class office building of the lease area equalling approximately 12 thousand sq.m.
This Cracow project shall be a successive – after Warsaw, Poznań, Kielce, Gdańsk, Szczecin, Łódź, Katowice and Wrocław – new office project of Echo Investment. The dynamic growth of the Company’s engagement in this sector of the real estate market results from implementing of the adoped development strategy assuming building and improving of quality of portfolio of projects intended for lease.

The company Echo Investment has been active at Polish real estate market for many years. So far the company may boast of many prestigiuous projects , among others: Babka Tower, City Gate, Olympic Center in Warsaw or Business Center in Łódź.
The last office project accomplished by the Company is Kielce Office Park, given for use in September 2007. In the Ist phase of realization 3 six-storey buildings were built of the total utility area equalling 16,3 thousand sq. m. The complex is connected by a common ground floor. Office park is equipped with a parking lot for over 400 cars.
At the beginning of this year realization of Park Postępu in Warsaw commenced. It is a modern building designed as a complex of 4 buildings, similar in form, located at the junction of Postępu and Domaniewska streets. Each of the office buildings has 7 overland storeys (of the same height) and 2 undergroung storeys. The complex is connected by a common ground floor. Park Postępu is a design for approximately 33 thousand sq. m. of utility area and more than 800 parking places. According to plans, this project should be completed in IInd half of 2009.
Another ECHO office project in the pipeline is Poznań Malta Office Park. It consists of six independent buildings, located near Malta Lake, of the total lease area of approximately 28 thousand sq. m. In this project there are planned approximately 600 parking places for cars in underground and overland car parks. The anticipated term of completion of the Ist phase of this project falls in IInd half of 2008.
In Gdańsk, at Jana z Kolna street, there shall be realized an A class office building of 23 thousand sq. m. of lease area. The anticipated term of completion of works falls on IInd half of 2010.
ECHO INVESTMENT is going to erect an A class office building also in Szczecin, at Malczewskiego street. According to its design, it shall have a lease area equalling 14 thousand sq. m. This investment is prepared for companies specializing in advanced informatic and telecommunication technologies. The anticipated term of completion of works is IInd half of 2009.
The company is planning subsequent projects in this sector of the market: in IIIrd quarter of 2007 it purchased land plots for construction of business parks in Katowice (of the lease area of appriximately 45 thousand sq. m.) and Łódź (of the lease area of approximately 23 thousand sq. m.).
