Pasaż Świętokrzyski 250,000 customers within one week!

PASAŻ ŚWIĘTOKRZYSKI commercial centre in Kielce was opened on 15 November 2006. Within the first week the facility has approx. 250,000 visitors. “Queues to shops, limited sales, extra personnel to guide customers inside the center – this is how the first day of work looked like at Pasaż”, says Grzegorz Czekaj, director of the center.

“After first “impact” surge of customers, a number of visitors has been slowly stabilizing and according to our estimates it will soon reach an average level of about 20,000 persons per day. We assume that such high “visiting” index will maintain for a very long time because Pasaż Świętokrzystki is the only commercial centre in the west densely populated part of the city. The only fears related to the opening of the centre concerned public transport around the centre due to a very big number of customers expected. Apart from a questionable crowd on the opening day, which was natural and obvious, there were no other problems neither with getting to the centre nor with parking or entering the traffic”.

Pasaż Świętokrzyski is the second centre in Kielce built by Echo Investments and the 18th such facility in Poland built by this company. The area of approx. 16,500 square meters is used by: E.Leclerc superstore, gallery with over 40 shops including RTV Euro AGD, CCC, Reporter, House, Orsay, Monnari, Tatuum, Vero Moda, Sunset Suits, Active, Gino Rossi, 4 you, Kielce’s first Kolporter Multimedia Lounge, foodcourt and service points.

Customers may use a cark park for 660 cars. Construction of the centre was started in December 2005 and was completed after 11 months.
