“Jazz for children” at Warsaw Breweries
“Jazz for children” at Warsaw Breweries

Warsaw Breweries and the EuroJAZZ Foundation invite children to a series of summer jazz concerts for kids. The upcoming event will take place on June 22nd. Admission to the event is free.

The event will start at 2:00 PM in the Central Garden. During the concert, children will hear well-known songs and international jazz standards from the repertoire of, among others, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, and George Gershwin, with Polish children's adaptations of texts by Magdalena Este, arranged by Michał Tokaj. The performances will be led by Magdalena Este -singer, pianist, composer, vocal coach, and member of Bogdan Hołownia's band - who conducts musical workshops "Jazz for children" and music activities at preschools and elementary schools. On stage, there will be exceptional and well-known jazz musicians: Aga Drelak (piano), Wojciech Pulcyn (double bass), Patryk Dobosz (drums), and guest starring the leading Polish jazz trombonist, composer, arranger, and educator - Jacek Namysłowski.

 - We invite children and all music enthusiasts to spend a Sunday afternoon with us. "Jazz for children" is not only an opportunity to listen to timeless music together but also a chance for family fun. Guests can enjoy a wonderful journey through the world of jazz performed by renowned artists. It is also a perfect opportunity to relax outdoors amid the greenery of the Central Garden – says Milena Nawrat, spokesperson for Warsaw Breweries.

The concert is co-organized by the EuroJAZZ Foundation, which has been implementing innovative projects to promote jazz music among children for many years. The musical material presented during the concert previews an album, the premiere of which is scheduled for this year.

We see increasing interest in jazz among children, which is why we want to offer them even more opportunities to discover this musical genre. The concert at Warsaw Breweries is a perfect chance to experience memorable moments, both for young and older jazz enthusiasts. For those eager to hear the album, we encourage you to check out the singles available on streaming platforms –says Agnieszka Holwek, Vice President of the EuroJAZZ Foundation.
