On May 25th, at the Central Garden stage at Warsaw Breweries, Gośka Bańka — composer, pianist, singer, and music show producer — will perform. Attendance at the Mother’s Day concert is free for everyone interested.
This year, in appreciation of the efforts and struggles of all Mothers, the open-air music stage at Warsaw Breweries will feature a performance by Gośka Bańka, who is passionate about French chanson. The artist has lived for many years in Paris and later in Costa Rica, which has influenced her career. She is the songwriter of the piece Les Allées du Luxembourg for French artist Marie Amélie Seigner. In Madrid, she collaborated with Miguel Angel Arenas - el Capi, producer of Mechano and Alejandro Sanz. She appeared on the album Tresecenta by the Costa Rican band Editus. In Poland, she has performed with Jacek Cygan at the Agnieszka Osiecka Studio in Trójka radio, at the Dwa Brzegi Film Festival in Kazimierz Dolny, and has sung at Piwnica pod Baranami, the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Kraków, and at the Royal Castle and Polonia Theatre. She is the creator and producer of music shows: “I Just Love. Poświatowska,” “Don't Fear the Night. The Story of the Warsaw Uprising,” and “The Exam of the Holocaust. Ghetto Through the Eyes of Women.” Currently, she is working with Leszek Możdżer on the album “I Will Tremble.
