On May 11th, the bustling Haberbusch and Schiele’s Woonerf, eagerly visited by tourists and locals alike, will transform into a stage for street concerts. Admission to the event is free.
In the heart of Warsaw's Wola district, Browary Warszawskie pulsate with life, springing to life green squares and streets in spring, transforming them into bustling urban corners full of good fun. On May 11th at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM along Haberbusch and Schiele’s Woonerf, at Leżakownia squares, and by the Warzelnia, concerts inaugurating the "garden season" at Browary Warszawskie will begin. Duets will perform on stage. The first one features Paweł Biderman - a versatile guitarist, arranger, composer, seeking his artistic identity in both jazz and entertainment music circles, accompanied by saxophonist Michał Łuka. The artists will perform a concert of jazz improvised music. The second concert will be performed by Ignacy Wendt - trumpeter, composer, and arranger, and Jan Wierzbicki - bass guitarist and double bassist. Musicians will entertain the guests of the cafe and restaurant gardens with improvisations on well-known jazz standards.
- Browary Warszawskie are one of the few places in Warsaw that transform into a atmospheric outdoor venue during the spring-summer season, where you can drop by with friends for good food, coffee, or cocktails, and at the same time enjoy outdoor entertainment. The opening of the gardens marks the symbolic beginning of the season, during which we will offer as usual many attractions such as concerts, festivals, outdoor cinema, performances by artistic groups, relaxation sessions on the grass, or events for children. We organize them every year because we know how much they are beloved by the local community and warmly welcomed by tourists - says Milena Nawrat, Marketing Manager w Echo Investment.
On the occasion of the opening of the garden season, restaurants and cafes have prepared special culinary and musical proposals that will extend the evening with live music. These will include, among others: Shambalaya at Sobremesa Tapas Bar, Slavic music at Wyraj, the show "Pinki is the new black" at Baila, or DJ set by Invent at Food Hall Browary. On this day, guests of Browary Warszawskie will have the opportunity to visit craft bar Veselka for the first time, to taste artisanal liqueurs, spirits, wines, and cider. The concept will open at Krochmalna Street.
