The construction works on the first stage of the Face2Face Business Campus office complex in Katowice developed by Echo Investment have been completed. The first employees have already moved into the new headquarters located at 4 Żelazna Street.

The first campus building is a seven-storey office building providing nearly 21,000 sqm of space. The developer began its construction in May 2018. All construction work was in line with the timetable and employees of DAZN, the digital world leader in the sports media, offering live streaming service, moved to the new office in January. Further companies will move in here in the upcoming weeks.

“Companies such as DAZN, STATS, Honeywell have already been moving their headquarters to Face2Face. Medicover Polska will also open a well-equipped medical center here. The key factor in choosing our project by tenants is its location – the center of Katowice. We have completed 93% of the first stage lease plan. Other space is reserved to be expansions for tenants”, says Joanna Nicińska, Regional Director at Echo Investment’s office department. “We knew that this new spot on the business map of the city will be so vibrant from the moment it was put into service. We are creating a new part of the city together with great tenants,. Face2Face Business Campus is a place designed in a sustainable approach and gathering from many years of our experience. We all can see changes taking place in the labour market and how they affect our lives – not only professional but also private. This space where people fulfil their business duties is to encourage to raise standards, develop, and at the same time give freedom, network and integrate. Common spaces can attract to the project – a playing field, that will also be a meeting place or an amphitheater, a green patio with seats and a cherry orchard, a lunch zone with outdoor tables located between restaurants in both buildings. You will be able to enjoy them fully after completion of the entire campus, i.e. this year”, she adds.

The first Face2Face in green

In addition to creating a great place to work, the sustainable approach also means caring for our environment. The developer in cooperation with architects from Grupa 5 Architekci paid special attention to an accountable approach to work ergonomics, ecological technological solutions, reasonable water and energy management, waste management monitoring. Electric car charging stations and parking spaces for bicycles will be founded in the complex. Employees who get to work by bicycle can use cabinets and showers. Common spaces – a large green patio, relaxation areas will be planted with favorable greenery, allowing birds and insects to settle there. At the design stage, the building obtained the EXCELLENT BREEAM certificate.

The second, fifteen-storey building providing 26,000 sqm of space is being developed next to the existing office building. Construction work is in progress. The second stage together with common spaces will be put into service in the fourth quarter of 2020. The office building is almost 80 percent leased.
