More men's style - Bytom in Galeria Młociny
More men's style - Bytom in Galeria Młociny

More than 120 square meters of space will be occupied by the Bytom store in Galeria Młociny, which is being developed in the vicinity of a transport junction in Warsaw's Bielany district. The new store of the brand will be located in the Fashion Avenue, which will become one of the key fashion destinations in the capital. The opening of the 90 percent leased complex is planned for spring this year.

Bytom in Warsaw, Bielany

Another fashionable novelty on the list of tenants of the complex being developed and leased by Echo Investment will be the flagship store of the Bytom chain. The sixteenth store in the capital will occupy 126 sqm. The interior of one of the largest Bytom shops in Poland will have an exceptionally masculine character and will be decorated in line with the latest design of the brand. The whole interior - dedicated to modern men and their need for comfort - is an attempt to balance dignified and sophisticated design with functionality

- It is hard to imagine Galeria Młociny without Bytom. Thanks to the new tenant, the men's fashion segment in our project will have an extremely strong representation - says Michał Banasik, senior leasing manager from Echo Investment's Retail Department.

Bytom is an offer for slightly conservative men. Referring to more than 70 years of male tailoring tradition, the brand is known mainly from the best Italian suit fabrics sewn in Poland, as well as from classic woolen coats.  In recent years, Bytom has become known as a brand promoting achievements of Polish art and culture by introducing collections: BYTOM - ICONS, BYTOM - COLLECTION OF ART aimed at reminding outstanding figures of Polish culture and art, undertaking cooperation in collections and campaigns with Polish artists, actors, photographers, and musicians.
- The presence in modern, multi-purpose complexes, where special attention is paid to style, is one of the strategic priorities. In the new BYTOM store in Galeria Młociny, anyone who appreciates classics and its modern interpretations will be able to find an attractive offer - emphasises Anna Paczkowska, Marketing Director at Bytom.

- CHIC, RHYTHM and ELEGANCE - their timeless topicality expressed in proportions, composition and colouring - was the basis on which we have found the assumptions of the project. In this eclectic interior - classic materials collided with raw concrete, and to balance it - we warmed the whole with honey oak wood. The latter appears on floor, furniture and on walls in the form of a classic paneling from the 1980s. We have added strong vintage accents made of structural glass, black steel and postmodern legacy of gold painted mirror frames. The final effect is complemented by great openwork ceiling, which adds lightness and class to the interior design - adds Samir Tiliouine from lsd.studio located in Kraków, which stands behind the store's design.

New, multifunctional centre of Bielany

The place will combine 220 favourite stores and service outlets, comfortable offices, a medical centre, playgrounds, a fitness club, restaurants and cafes, a trampoline park and the first multiplex cinema in the district within a friendly and green area.

Galeria Młociny is distinguished by an innovative approach in the design of meeting places, entertainment and gastronomy. Its restaurant and entertainment space, which occupies the entire +2 floor and is connected with the green roof garden, has been divided into various functional zones. Architects from the renowned Broadway Malyan studio transferred the atmosphere of cosy cafes, street-food and eating out as well as outdoor dining among greenery to Warsaw’s Bielany district. This is the first concept of its kind in Poland.

Galeria Młociny is being developed right next to Młociny hub – one of the places with the best transport links in Warsaw, with direct access to the underground, numerous tram lines and bus routes, suburban and national buses, a bicycle station and a P&R car park. It is the most important transfer location for the northern part of the city and satellite towns and it is used by over 24 mln passengers every year.

Investors of Galeria Młociny are: EPP (70 pct shares) and Echo Investment (30 pct shares). The former company will manage the newly-opened complex. The latter one is fully responsible for the development and lease process.
