On 18 September 2012 Waldemar Lesiak, director of the Office and Hotel Department in Echo Investment, took part in a discussion panel entitled ‘BPO – Regions Tempt Investors’, which was part of the Property Forum 2012 conference organized in Warsaw by Propertynews.pl.
Participants of the panel discussed Poland"s position in the global market of business process outsourcing, the industry"s development prospects and the influence of BPO on the regions" economic revival. Echo Investment"s implemented and planned office projects in Katowice, Warsaw (Konstruktorska), Gdańsk and Kraków made up a large part of the discussion.
Apart from director Waldemar Lesiak the participants of the discussion panel included: John Gabrovic (director of Centrum Słoneczne, AIG/Lincoln Poland), Sławomir Majman (president of the management board, Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency), Bartosz Niedźwiedzki (manager, Global Incentives Advisory Services, Ernst & Young), Piotr Wojaczek (president of the management board, Katowice Special Economic Zone). The moderator of the panel was Tomasz Buras (head of Office Agency – Central Europe, Savills).
Over 1,000 participants took part in the Property Forum 2012 conference on the commercial property market and over 70 speakers presented their opinions about the sector and its development prospects. The meeting also included an award gala of the Prime Property Prize 2012 competition, in which Galeria Echo won the Retail Space Market Project of the Year category. The facility was awarded for its quality, lead time, commercialization process, innovative solutions and architecture.
