Helios SA and Echo Investment have concluded a lease agreement concerning an area in Galeria Sudecka in Jelenia Góra, which is to be occupied by a 7-screen cinema. It will be the first modern multiplex in this town.
“We are glad that the first and only multi-screen cinema in this region with nearly 200,000 inhabitants is to be opened in our project. Helios cinema will certainly make the broad offer of Galeria Sudecka more attractive,” says Karolina Prędota, Leasing Manager in Echo Investment.
“We are happy to be able to provide the inhabitants of Jelenia Góra and its area with the enjoyable experience of visiting our comfortable Helios cinema in Galeria Sudecka,” says Tomasz Jagiełło, president of the management board of Helios SA.
The cinema of the Helios chain in Galeria Sudecka will offer 1650 seats located in seven rooms. It is yet another agreement between Echo Investment and Helios. The companies have been cooperating with each other for many years. There is a Helios cinema operating in Galeria Echo in Kielce, which is to be joined by Helios cinemas in Galeria Olimpia in Bełchatów and Outlet Park Szczecin later this year.
Galeria Sudecka is to be built in the Zaborze district, in the north-eastern part of Jelenia Góra. The facility will be built as a result of an extension of the Echo shopping centre on Jana Pawła II Avenue.
“Echo Investment was the first company to have built a shopping centre in this town, which has been enjoying great popularity and confidence among customers for 12 years. Galeria Sudecka will be the first shopping and entertainment centre in the Jelenia Góra region. Its excellent location, the offer of 100 shops, restaurants and service outlets as well as its well-promoted brand predestine the project to the role of the regional centre, which will certainly be eagerly visited by guests from abroad thanks to its unique location. It is worth emphasizing that Jelenia Góra is visited by 60,000 tourists every year, including 20,000 foreigners. This is a town with great potential, which provides development prospects for our centre,” emphasizes Marcin Materny, Shopping Centre Department Director – Foreign Projects in Echo Investment.
