A new footwear chain is to enter the Polish market. The first shops of Kari will be opened in Pasaż Grunwaldzki in Wrocław and the newly-built Galeria Olimpia in Bełchatów, among other places.
Igor Yakovlev, a Russian businessman who is the owner of the Kari chain has announced its expansion on the Polish market. In 2012 he is planning to open 30 new salons in some of the best shopping centres in Poland.
One of the first shops will be in Pasaż Grunwaldzki in Wrocław. The salon will have an area of 350 sqm and is to be opened in May later this year. Another shop of the Russian chain, with an area of nearly 270 sqm, will appear in Galeria Olimipia in Bełchatów, which is being developed by Echo Investment. The opening of the facility is planned for October 2012.
Salons of the Kari chain offer fashionable footwear and accessories at attractive prices. Apart from Poland Kari is also planning to build a sales chain in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and the Czech Republic. The value of the planned investments is estimated at approx. USD 150 mln.
