General contractor of Outlet Park Szczecin

Polimex-Mostostal has become the general contractor of Outlet Park Szczecin - the first outlet centre in the West Pomeranian region, developed by Echo Investment.

Echo Investment has concluded a general contractor agreement with Polimex-Mostostal SA concerning Outlet Park Szczecin. The value of the agreement amounts to PLN 48.65 mln net. The building site is to be made available immediately.

Outlet Park Szczecin is being developed in the Prawobrzeże district, at the site of a functioning shopping centre located on Struga Street, owned by Echo Investment.

The commercialization process is being carried out in cooperation with CB Richard Ellis. “The process isprogressing very smoothly, approximately 70 pct of the area has been leased so far. There are more negotiations pending, mostly with companies which are interested in outlets offering large areas,” says Marcin Materny, shopping centre department director at Echo Investment.

Tenants of the facility already include such brands as: Reserved, Nike, Reebook, Adidas, Puma, House, Lee Wrangler, Atlantic, VIP, Wittchen, Bytom, Vero Moda, Jack & Jones, Ochnik, Ambra, Coffeeheaven, Wójcik, McArthur, Kazar, Lancerto, Leyla, Empik Café and Willsoor Group.

Outlet Park Szczecin is being developed in two stages. The first, pending one includes a shopping mall with 70 retail outlets, a Helios multi-screen cinema, a ‘Piotr i Paweł’ supermarket and an electronics shop. Its completion is planned for H1 2012. Work on the second stage, in which approx. 60 shops will are to be built, is to start a year after the completion of the first stage at the earliest.

The leasable area of Outlet Park Szczecin amounts to over 23,000 sqm. Customers will have 1,400 parking spaces at their disposal. The architectural concept of the facility was created at the Vsf-Creative architectural studio and the author of the alternative construction design is the STUDIO A4 architectural studio of Szczecin.

Echo Investment is currently developing Galeria Olimpia in Bełchatów and Galeria Veneda in Łomża. The construction of Galeria Amber in Kalisz is to start within this year as well as the extension of Pasaż Grunwaldzki in Wrocław.
