Galeria Echo - the biggest shopping centre in Poland with regard to the number of shops and service outlets started its operations on August 19. The grand opening with the participation of Echo Investment representatives, local authorities, tenants and the media took place a day earlier.
Representatives of the investor, main representatives of the provincial, local government and town authorities as well as tenants, journalists and VIPs took part in the Thursday event.
“Today’s Galeria Echo is the effect of the trust of our customers whom I would like to thank sincerely on this occasion. I would like to direct my gratitude to our retail partners as well. I also thank Echo Investment employees who have been involved in this great project,” said Michał Sołowow, owner of Echo Investment.
“We are opening a facility which can boast the broadest product offer all over Poland. Customers have 300 shops and service outlets at their disposal in Galeria Echo. It is our common great success,” added Piotr Gromniak, president of Echo Investment.
The official part of the event finished with the blessing of the new facility. Next, the guests had an opportunity to see the artistic programme. After it finished, the participants did some sightseeing of Galeria Echo and the first shopping.
Today at 9:00 a.m. Galeria Echo opened its door to all customers, for whom a lot of promotions and attractions have been prepared in 300 shops and service outlets.

Galeria Echo is the biggest shopping and entertainment facility in Poland as regards the number of shops and service outlets. The gross area of the facility amounts to 159,000 sqm, out of which 70,000 sqm is a leasable area. Customers have a car park for 2,300 cars at their disposal.
The opening of Galeria Echo is also a premiere of many world-wide brands on the local market. Kielce has gained such chains as: TK Maxx, Zara, C&A, H&M, New Yorker, Answear, Pull&Bear and Bershka. Its product offer is completed by exclusive brands such as Peacocks, S.Oliver, Motivi, Strellson, Pierre Cardin, Tally Weijl, Camaieu, Jacqeline Riu, Voëgele and shoe salons: Kazar, Venezia, Prima Moda, Ecco Shoes and Ryłko. There are also numerous sports, jewellery, kids’ and electronics shops in the centre.
The facility also includes Dekorada – the biggest centre of furnishing and interior design in the region which is located on the top floor of Galeria Echo. Dekorada offers an area of 5,000 sqm. One can find anything for finishing, furnishing and decorating their apartments or house and get some professional advice of an architect or interior stylist.
The top floor also serves entertainment and leisure functions. Customers have the ‘MK Bowling’ 12-track bowling alley at their disposal as well as the biggest fitness centre in the region ‘Pure Health & Fitness’. A huge fun room with an area of 300 sqm has been prepared for the youngest ones.
The multi-storey car park for 2,300 is another showpiece of the facility. There has been a system of directing cars to empty spaces used in the car park as well as a special function of reminding a customer about the location of their parked car. All you need to do is enter the licence plate of the car on one of the interactive boards placed around Galeria Echo in order to get the location of your vehicle.
The design of Galeria Echo extension was created in the Detan architectural studio of Kielce whereas the design of the facade and the interior was executed by Warsaw’s architectural studio Open Architekci.
