Echo Investment signed a lease agreement with ROCHE Polska concerning a commercial area in Malta Office Park complex, being constructed in Poznań, at Arcybiskupa Baraniaka street.

ROCHE Polska, operating in more than 150 countries, a leading manufacturer of drugs used in many fields of medicine, shall open in Malta Office Park complex a Center of Informatics Services. On the area of nearly 1 450 sq. m. the center shall deal in creating informatics systems supporting clinical research.

Malta Office Park is a modern office complex located at Abp Baraniaka St. in Poznań. The complex comprises six buildings: four 5-floor and two 6-floor buildings. All the buildings are connected through the underground parking. The "open space" standard will assure flexibility in dividing the floors and will provide a large scope of possible arrangements. The whole complex will have nearly 31,000 square meters of leasable area. The number of employees working in the Park will be equal to 2,500-3,000 persons. The strong point of the complex will be the approx. 600 parking spots in the over- and underground parking lot. The office complex will have a number of state-of-the-art solutions related to the technology, the security system, as well as the monitoring and access control system. The project involves reconstruction of the road system around the concept so as to adapt it to the new needs.

The first phase of the project was handed over for use at the end of 2008. It consists of two buildings of the total leasable area of more than 7 500 sq. m. The office area has been leased in 100%. The shell and core of the second phase of Malta Office Park project has been accomplished. It consists of three buildings – two 5-storeyed and one 6-storeyed building, offering all together more than 16.000 sq. m. of leasable area. At present internal finishing works are in progress. 5-storeyed buildings shall be put into use in the IInd half of 2009. Completion of works connected with the whole of the complex is scheduled for the IInd half of 2010.
