Echo Investment marks the 30th anniversary of its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and its transformation from a local newspaper publisher in Kielce into a nationwide real estate developer. Today, it is the only Poland-based company with such extensive experience across three demanding property sectors: office, retail and residential. It is also the leading brand within the Echo Group, established in 2025, reflecting the organisation’s ability to respond effectively to evolving market needs. Entering its fourth decade, Echo Investment builds on strong foundations, focusing on business diversification, sustainable growth and responsible urban development. 2026 also marks the 40th anniversary of Archicom, which joined the Group in 2021 and transformed into a nationwide residential developer.
Walking through the centres of Poland’s largest cities, it is hard to miss places created by Echo Investment. What began 30 years ago with a single multifamily building in Kielce has grown into 250 projects delivered in more than 30 cities. In Warsaw, these include the vibrant Browary Warszawskie, the landmark Q22 tower and Towarowa 22 – Poland’s first super quarter, currently under development in Wola. In Łódź, the company delivered Fuzja, a unique mixed-use revitalisation of the former Scheibler factory. In Wrocław, Kraków and other major agglomerations, Echo has developed over 50 office buildings serving as workplaces for thousands of professionals, 34 shopping centres visited daily by large numbers of customers, as well as 16 hotels. Over the years, Echo Investment has also built approximately 22 thousand apartments for sale and rent, with this activity successfully continued in recent years by specialised companies within the Group.
“Our diverse experience has shaped Echo Investment. Today, we focus on large scale mixed use and office projects, while sharing our expertise and supporting other companies within the Group, active in residential, living and serviced office segments. Together with Archicom, Resi4Rent, StudentSpace and CitySpace, Echo Investment provides a coherent response to the real needs of the biggest Polish cities,” says Nicklas Lindberg, CEO of the Echo Group.
“Over the past 30 years, Echo has proven resilient to global market turbulence and capable of adapting to new realities. We were also able to set the direction of development within our sector. Today, we intend to continue our strategy of profitable growth, strengthening our position as a pure developer focused on delivering and then divesting completed, fully commercialized buildings to investors. We have solid foundations that enable us to launch new ventures – independently or with renowned partners,” Lindberg adds.
As of the end of 2025, Echo Investment’s office portfolio comprised nearly 119,000 sqm of space in operation and almost 113,000 sqm under construction or in preparation across Poland’s key markets. Resi4Rent has already served more than 23,000 customers through its subscription based rental housing offer. The scale of the Echo Group’s operations is further underlined by the successful debut of the StudentSpace brand in the private student housing segment, which opened its first three properties last year and plans further expansion.
At the same time, residential developer Archicom – which also celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026 – is among the largest and longest-operating residential developers in Poland. Over four decades of operations, the company has delivered more than 240 residential projects, developing investments in the country’s largest cities – Wrocław, Warsaw, Łódź, Kraków, Poznań and Katowice. Since 2021, Archicom has been part of the Echo Group, and in 2023 it took over the entire residential business of Echo Investment, gaining a nationwide footprint.
A responsible partner for cities
Echo Investment’s story is not only one of dynamic growth in scale and expertise, but also of a consistently implemented vision for responsible urban development and a move away from single use projects. Drawing on experience gained across different economic cycles, supported by stable financial foundations and a long term approach, Echo is a predictable and reliable partner for local authorities and communities. The organisation’s maturity is reflected in the way it plans its investments: through dialogue with cities during planning procedures, respect for existing urban fabric and local context, and the integration of high environmental and social standards at every stage of each project.
“Our flagship ‘destinations’ concept – centrally located, multifunctional projects with a significant share of public space – has become a market benchmark, and we intend to continue developing it in our fourth decade. The opportunity to deliver such places in the heart of major cities is a unique experience and specialisation of Echo,” concludes Nicklas Lindberg.
Echo consistently pursues its ESG strategy, focusing on gradual decarbonisation, revitalisation of postindustrial areas, development exclusively within city centres and the creation of accessible spaces that foster integration. This approach ensures that the company not only delivers attractive real estate projects, but also actively co creates lasting value for Polish cities and their residents.
