Exhibition of Polish illustrators at the Warsaw Breweries
Exhibition of Polish illustrators at the Warsaw Breweries

Throughout April, there is an exhibition of works by talented Polish illustrators along the pipeline on Haberbusch and Schiele street. In recent years, the artists have created graphics on the famous stairs of the Warsaw Breweries, which have become one of the tourist attractions of the capital.

Since the revitalization of the Warsaw Breweries in 2021, one of their main attractions has become the seventeen-meter-long stairs leading from the woonerf on Haberbusch and Schiele street to the square by the historic Leżakownia. It is no surprise that they captivate passersby. On the stairs, unique, colorful graphics can be admired, referencing the tradition of street art. The graphics change several times a year and are designed by talented Polish illustrators, supported by the Warsaw Breweries. Over the past few years, the stairs have served as a creative expression for a number of artists: Karol Banach, Katarzyna Bogucka, Dawid Rylski, Jan Kallwejt, Justyna Stasik, Michał Loba, Justyna Cychowska, Anna Rudak, Renata Krawczyk, Martyna Wójcik-Śmierska and Karolina Lubaszko.

- In tribute to the illustrators and their extraordinary works, we decided to organize an exhibition of the graphics that have previously adorned the stairs. They will be displayed along the pipeline on Haberbusch and Schiele street. The open-air, free exhibition will start on April 1st and will last the entire month. We warmly encourage spring walks through the Warsaw Breweries and to see both the exhibition and our stairs in a new edition – this time by Karolina Lubaszko, says Milena Nawrat, spokesperson of Warsaw Breweries.

The revitalized Warsaw Breweries have become a place for living, working, and spending leisure time. This unique urban space, which combines offices, residential blocks, restaurants, cafes, green squares, and plazas, has been loved by both Warsaw residents and tourists. The Warsaw Breweries are also a venue for the promotion of culture and art, which attracts many talented artists.
