The creative part and the media part of the Havas Group will meet under one roof in the first office building in Moje Miejsce – Echo Investment’s city-forming project which is under construction in Warsaw’s Dolny Mokotów district. The Polish branch of the international player in the marketing communications sector will be the next one to start operating according to global idea called ‘Havas Village’.
“Moving office next year is our key project of the last 2 years. It will lead not only to changing our headquarters and address but most of all locating all Havas services under one roof. The creative part and the media part of Havas Group will be working together within the same space. This is an extremely important, developmental but also challenging change for both teams. On the other hand, this is an interesting offer for our clients. The main goal that we want to achieve in our new location is to create a comprehensive product range of integrated marketing communication,” emphasizes Małgorzata Węgierek, the CEO of Havas Media Group.
“The choice of the office in Moje Miejsce was also crucial for us due to the fact that it is located in the immediate vicinity of nc +, which we are in the same Vivendi group with. Reducing the physical distance will definitely improve cooperation, in line with our global strategy and as a response to a change in the field of marketing communication,” adds Dorota Mazur, the CEO of Havas Creative Group.
There are a great number of reasons why companies decide to change their current location. The team and community spirit that the structure of the Village is based on, which the Polish branch of the Havas Group wants to follow, requires adequate space. By choosing more than 4,600 sqm in Moje Miejsce, which is under construction on Beethovena Street, the Havas Group opted for space designed according to the values they observe in their daily work.
Moje Miejsce is a symbiosis of two worlds often standing in opposition – the private one i.e. home and the professional one i.e. the workplace. By creating apartments in the immediate vicinity of offices, a natural relationship between employees and residents is being built at the same time.
“Our assumption has been that in Dolny Mokotów we are not creating a residential and office developments as two separate projects, which are only connected by the plot. Starting from the first line drawn by architects from the JEMS Architekci studio we knew that we were building a community. This community will include employees, who will evolve and face challenges every day, as well as residents, who will build their history here. Thanks to common squares, their favourite bakery or a good local restaurant, they will have the opportunity to meet, get to know and inspire each other. We give our tenants a good workplace and we show that we listen to their needs and answer them by introducing amenities such as transporting employees from the metro station to the office building with a special bus in the morning and afternoon,” says Paweł Milcarz, a senior leasing manager in Echo Investment’s Office Department.
The choice of location and refinement of the details of the contract took place thanks to cooperation with Colliers International.
“We realised that the choice of the new headquarters of the Havas Group was an important element of its development. Therefore, we approached the process comprehensively – in addition to advising on the lease of office space, we provided the client with office arrangement support from our Workplace Innovation Department. As a result of e.g. work environment analysis, we were able to identify buildings that met the requirements of employees better. We are convinced that Moje Miejsce will quickly become a space in which Havas specialists will feel at home,” says Marcin Sabowicz, the associate director in Colliers International’s Office Space Department.
