Echo Investment - together with Lodz University of Technology and Soundedit Festival - organises EchoConnect

Echo Investment together with the Lodz University of Technology and the International Festival of Music Producers Soundedit invites to a unique meeting of business, art and sport people with students of the International Faculty of Engineering Lodz University of Technology IFE. This year's EchoConnect will take place on October 25 and will be a part of the International Festival of Music Producers Soundedit - the only event in the world addressed to music producers.

„We are convinced that future leaders must be versatile, creative and open to other aspects of life. Hence the idea of gathering outstanding sport, art and business representatives, who share openness to other people's experience, ability to go beyond their field, or constant desire to break new ground. They will share with students their thoughts on leadership, success or sources of inspiration” says Waldemar Olbryk, Board Member of Echo Investment. ”Soundedit is essentially connected with music, but also, for the second time, it will be a series of exceptional meetings, workshops and EchoConnect panels addressed to students. We are really glad that once again we are pleased to co-organise this unique project with Echo Investment” added Maciej Werk, Festival Director. “We have managed to gather many excellent artists for the tenth anniversary of the festival and I hope that meeting them will inspire young people to develop their interests”. In the course of EchoConnect students will be able to get to know and listen to, among others a vocalist and composer Reni Jusis, a sports psychologist Katarzyna Selwant, an athlete Adam Kszczot, a general director of Kayax Tomik Grewiński, a handball player Karol Bielecki, a creator of vinyl sleeves Jo Mirowski, a curling player Łukasz Janczar, a punk vocalist John Robb, a drummer Maciej Gołyźniak and many others representatives of the world of music, sports, science and business.  “We are pleased that the Lodz University of Technology will be a host and co-organiser of this exceptional event for the first time. Our students are creative, young people who seek - and find - inspiration not only in pure technology. I believe that EchoConnect workshops will be extremely attractive for future leaders, which are trained at IFE” says prof. dr hab. inż. Sławomir Wiak, Rector of the Lodz University of Technology, and adds “We would like this event to be permanently included in our calendar and to gather more and more participants every year”.  Four inspiring panels are four hours of conversations about short and long-term thinking, teamwork importance in business, music and sport, creativity perception and sources of its inspiration, as well as seeking an answer to a question of personal definition of success. At the same time, students will be able to take part in exceptional workshops on strategy building skills by the example of curling and thinking about a product through its design.  The partners of this event are companies such as: ABB, Bi.Ma. Biliński Production, Curling Łódź, Dconsult, Fujitsu, Inwedo, Clientocentric, Niepubliczna Szkoła Baletowa in Lodz, Samsung and Signify, who share the values of Echo Investment, deeply believing that success is obtained thanks to teamwork, knowledge transfer and transparent communication.
