Six months before the planned opening, the lease level of the complex developed right next to the Młociny transport hub is over 87%.
Traditionally, but in line with the times One of the largest fashion stores for women, men and children of the KappAhl clothing chain deriving from Sweden will be developed in Galeria Młociny. For years, customers have appreciated brand's clothes for quality and classic cuts that go with the times. One of its distinguishing features are also collections prepared for plus size women. The 763 sqm store will be located on the first floor of the complex, which will house on three floors over 220 stores of well-known and popular brands, restaurants, cafes, a fitness centre, a green roof garden and the first multi-screen cinema in this part of the city. The Newbie brand also belonging to KappAhl, sells high quality clothing for babies and children. Its stores are currently available in native Sweden, Norway, Finland and the United Kingdom. The first store on the Vistula River debuted a year ago. In Galeria Młociny, the self-contained Newbie store on the ground floor will occupy an area of approximately 72 sqm. “The Newbie collection has generated a lot of interest from the very beginning and gained currency. Today, we can say that from the point of view of the brand's development the strategic decision to open stores addressed only to children and toddlers was a good move. We are very happy to be present at Bielany, especially since it has been one of the most pleasant places to live in the capital willingly chosen by young families” says Agnieszka Skrybant-Jaworska, Country Manager at KappAhl Poland. Behind the success of the Newbie collection is not only the highest quality of materials and clothing, but above all their distinctive, romantic style, which goes hand in hand with subdued colours. It is worth noting that all designs in the collections are freehand designed by KappAhl. It is impossible to take your eyes off accessories of the Swedish brand. And many of them are awe-inspiring such as pastel bobble hats, miniature warm shoes, plush cuddly toys and hundreds of others. But apart from the fashion itself, Newbie is also a production process organised in accordance with the principles of sustainability. The brand is proud of the fact that all clothes are made of materials from sustainable sources, and all cotton is ecological. “The stores of the Swedish chain perfectly fit into our lease strategy, we attach great importance to brand diversification. We care about every area-i.e. shopping, services, gastronomy, entertainment and recreation in Galeria Młociny to create a varied and therefore interesting and well thought of place” says Marcin Kopczyk, Senior Leasing Manager at Echo Investment"s Shopping Centre Department. New, mixed-use centre of Bielany The place will combine 220 favourite stores and service outlets, comfortable offices, a medical centre, playgrounds, a fitness club, restaurants and cafes, a trampoline park and the first multiplex cinema in the district within a friendly and green area. Galeria Młociny is distinguished by an innovative approach in the design of meeting places, entertainment and gastronomy. Its restaurant and entertainment space, which occupies the entire +2 floor and is connected with the green roof garden, has been divided into various functional zones. Architects from the renowned Broadway Malyan studio transferred the atmosphere of cosy cafes, street-food and eating out as well as outdoor dining among greenery to Warsaw"s Bielany district. This is the first concept of its kind in Poland. Galeria Młociny is being developed right next to the Młociny hub – one of the places with the best transport links in Warsaw, with direct access to the underground, numerous tram lines and bus routes, suburban and national buses, a bicycle station and a P&R car park. It is the most important transfer location for the northern part of the city and satellite towns and it is used by over 24 mln passengers every year. Investors of Galeria Młociny are: EPP (70 pct shares) and Echo Investment (30 pct shares). The former company will manage the newly-opened complex. The latter one is fully responsible for the development process and the lease.
