Beautiful, light and ... waterproof. Obag bags in Młociny "In Warsaw we were looking for a place with the highest quality of the project, perfect location, demographic potential and purchasing power of the local market. A place with interesting architecture, full of greenery and an innovative, bold restaurant zone that will impress customers. In a word, we were looking for a location that goes with the times. Furthermore, as an international brand, we feel best in the company of other fashion brands with a global reach. And these will have a strong representation in Galeria Młociny according to the list of tenants which is being prepared", says Artur Pękacki, Retail Sale and Development Director of the Obag.store chain. Obag Factory by fullspot started its operations in Italy in 2009. The brand soon made its presence known on the fashion market, distinguishing itself with the concept that provides customers with great opportunities in terms of co-creating and deciding on the final appearance of the products. The brand enjoys the most popularity in Italy, where the products are not only designed but also produced. Obag enthusiasts in Italy can use a chain comprising 220 stores. Apart from Italy stores of the brand are available in more than 50 countries around the world. The distinguishing feature of Obag are the characteristic handbags made of the lightweight, durable and waterproof EVA material which won the hearts of many women very quickly. Polish women love Obags not only for their functionality, unique and minimalistic appearance as well as a wide range of colours and excellent workmanship but also for the infinite possibilities of individual composition of own sets. Nowadays Obag is not only associated with bags. The product family of the Italian brand has grown to include watches, footwear, sunglasses, wallets and a substantial list of accessories. The Obag brand emerged on the Polish market in 2013. At the beginning the products were available only in the online store and at several partner outlets as well as multi-brand stores. Since 2015 the brand has been opening its own stores. There are currently six of them in Poland. More convenient shopping Throughout the world Obag pays a lot of attention to the excellent visibility of its stores. Excellent visibility is also a very strong point of Galeria Młociny. The designers of the complex took care of the display of shop windows that are visible from each floor. It means more convenience and a shorter time of reaching a specific goal for future customers – not just of the Obag boutique. 'Cult models and the hottest designs of the season? We are perfectly aware of the importance of displaying new collections and trends in the fashion segment. Therefore we will organize a Fashion Avenue with impressive 7.5-metre tall shop windows on the first floor of Galeria Młociny', comments Michał Banasik, Senior Leasing Manager at Echo Investment"s Shopping Centres Department. "It is a great honour for us that Obag has just chosen Galeria Młociny as a location for its store in Warsaw. It also confirms that our project can offer everything that every demanding brand needs", says Marek Gładki, Head of Leasing and Asset Management at EPP. People responsible for the development of Obag in Poland also emphasize the great importance of product display. Each store is designed individually and it is based on a modular structure of equipment and furniture. The space in which the customer can comfortably compose their own set plays an important role. New, mixed-use centre of Bielany Galeria Młociny is a new, mixed-use centre of Bielany. The place will combine 220 favourite shops and service outlets, comfortable offices, a medical centre, playgrounds, a fitness club, restaurants and cafes, a trampoline park and the first multiplex cinema in the district within a friendly and green area. Galeria Młociny is distinguished by an innovative approach in the design of meeting places, entertainment and gastronomy. Its restaurant and entertainment space, which occupies the entire +2 floor and is connected with the green roof garden, has been divided into various functional zones. Architects from the renowned Broadway Malyan studio transferred the atmosphere of cosy cafes, street-food and eating out as well as outdoor dining among greenery to Warsaw"s Bielany district. This is the first concept of its kind in Poland. The mall is being developed right next to the Młociny hub – one of the places with the best transport links in Warsaw, with direct access to the underground, numerous tram lines and bus routes, suburban and national buses, a bicycle station and a P&R car park. It is the most important transfer location for the northern part of the city and satellite towns and it is used by over 24 mln passengers every year. Investors of Galeria Młociny are: EPP (70 pct shares) and Echo Investment (30 pct shares). The former company will manage the newly-opened complex. The latter one is fully responsible for the development process.
