First MK Bowling in Warsaw
First MK Bowling in Warsaw

Twelve full-size alleys, billiard tables and traditional Italian cuisine with a wood-burning stove – the MK Bowling club chain is to open in Galeria Młociny, a new mixed-use centre in Warsaw's Bielany district.

“Our debut on Warsaw market is a very important moment for the development of our chain. We were looking for the best place in the capital city and we quickly chose Galeria Młociny. People visiting such places want to have access to the best sports, food and entertainment offer nowadays. MK Bowling will provide them not only with great fun while bowling but also access to an attractive game zone including billiards, Italian cuisine and a bar,” says Tomasz Stanisławski, owner of the MK Bowling chain. “The floor which is to include MK Bowling with an area of over 1,000 sqm has been entirely earmarked for sports, entertainment and gastronomy. I am convinced that the first location of this chain in Warsaw will be successful. MK Bowling is our proven partner with whom we cooperate e.g. in Galaxy, Szczecin and aleria Echo, Kielce, it will also open in Libero in Katowice this year,” says Marcin Szlufik, senior leasing manager at Echo Investment. MK Bowling is the largest bowling club in Poland. It offers over 17,000 sqm of entertainment in 11 cities. Activities for children, company meetings as well as music and sports events are organized in the bowling alleys of the chain. Galeria Młociny is a new, mixed-use centre of Bielany. The place will combine 220 favourite shops and service outlets, comfortable offices, a medical centre, playgrounds, a fitness club, restaurants and cafes, a trampoline park and the first multiplex cinema in the district within a friendly and green area. More than a year before its opening 75% of Galeria Młociny is already leased. The best food and entertainment zone in Warsaw is designed by the well-known Broadway Malyan studio, which won a competition announced by the developer. The project is developed by a joint venture of EPP and Echo Investment. EPP owns 70% of the project, the remaining part belongs to Echo Investment which is responsible commercialization of the project.  The mall is being developed right next to the Młociny hub – one of the places with the best transport links in Warsaw, with direct access to the underground, numerous tram lines and bus routes, suburban and national buses, a bicycle station and a P&R car park. It is the most important transfer location for the northern part of the city and satellite towns and it is used by over 24 mln passengers every year. www.galeriamlociny.pl
