An open workspace for 3,500 people, apartments for over 700 people, public spaces: green areas, open squares, cafes, restaurants, delicatessens, playgrounds and many amenities such as bike rental and car sharing stations. Echo launches the construction of another part of the city in Warsaw’s Dolny Mokotów district.
You can live close to the office and work outdoors in your favourite spot of one of the many green squares. Later, you will drink strong coffee from your favourite café, take your little daughter for lunch and to the playground. You will be able to sit and read a book. Perhaps you will want to go to the Vistula River? Sure, use the city bike rental! If you sometimes need a car – all you need to do is leave the house: it will be waiting at the car sharing station. You will meet friends in the restaurant while shopping will be done in the neighbourhood. A fitness club will be located in the next building, ordered parcel - in a parcel locker at the end of the street and clean shirts – in a self-service laundry pick-up station. This is "Moje Miejsce". Echo Investment will create it on an area of over three hectares in Dolny Mokotów. This open to everyone fragment of Warsaw was designed by architects from the JEMS studio.
“"Moje Miejsce" will be another section of a good city apart from "Browary Warszawskie", which is being developed by Echo Investment. These are interpenetrating spaces of apartments, green squares, streets, offices and numerous amenities. We are co-responsible for ensuring that cities develop in a sustainable way, their space is open and encourages people to use it. "Moje Miejsce" has been designed as a space to grow, relax and take a breather,” says Waldemar Olbryk, board member at Echo Investment.
The place created by Echo Investment is located in such a way that everyone will be able to easily reach other favourite parts of Warsaw. It's Dolny Mokotów which provides good transport links to the centre thanks to an extensive network of roads and buses of several lines that have their stops in the neighbourhood. Furthermore, a new tram line connecting Wilanów with Wola will be built in the vicinity in three years.
"Moje Miejsce" includes five small residential parts offering 244 apartments, two office buildings with a total area of 34,000 sqm, commercial premises and numerous amenities. 20 pct of the plot will be covered with a lawn, flowers, shrubs and trees. Greenery will also cover roofs. Furthermore, Echo Investment will plant trees in adjacent public areas along the extended Bobrowiecka Street. A BREEAM certificate will confirm that "Moje Miejsce" will fulfil all energy efficiency and sustainability criteria.
Excavations for the foundations of the first office building began in autumn last year. In a few weeks, work will begin on the residential buildings and the second office building. "Moje Miejsce" should be completed by the end of 2019.
“We want people who will live, work or come here to be able to say: Yes, it's my place! Therefore, we will also take care of the nearest surroundings, greenery and municipal infrastructure. We will extend Bobrowiecka Street and add two additional sections of this road, so that "Moje Miejsce" is easily accessible to everyone who wants to come here by bicycle or car. In order to ensure safety, we will finance traffic lights at the junction of Beethovena and Bobrowiecka streets,” says Rafał Mazurczak, board member of Echo Investment.
