Ryłko, a renowned footwear company with over 50 years of tradition, is to open its new shop in the Libero shopping centre in Katowice this year.
“While looking for new locations for our shops we always make sure that the place is characteristic and has a kind of magnetism about it. Libero is not just about interesting fashion, sport, services, gastronomy and entertainment but it also offers excellent architecture, comfort and positive energy. The choice of Libero, which is located in the southern part of Katowice, seemed obvious to us,” says Konrad Grabski responsible for investment and development at Ryłko.
“Ryłko is a Polish brand which has been present on the market for over 50 years. The company"s footwear is created in Poland at every stage, which is appreciated by customers as well as Echo Investment, the largest Polish developer. We are happy about the cooperation with the most famous local companies and their presence in Libero,” adds Karolina Prędota-Krystek, senior leasing manager, Echo Investment.
The history of the Ryłko brand goes back to the end of the 19th century when the founder"s (Stanisław Ryłko) grandfather"s brother opened the first shoemaker"s in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. From that time knowledge about shoe production was passed down from generation to generation. In 1964 Stanisław Ryłko established his own company, which initially only produced footwear for men. Soon after, the company also started to create women"s footwear.
