A broad range of footwear and fashion accessories will be an excellent extension of its fashion offer,” says Tomasz Domoń, regional leasing director at Echo Investment"s Shopping Centre Department. The Deichmann chain comprises nearly 250 shops in Poland, offering a broad selection of footwear for the entire family, including own brands as well as: 5th Avenue, Graceland, Victory, Adidas, Nike, Puma and Fila. The 20-year history of the brand in Poland is marked by a dynamic development of the chain as well as transformations inside the company, which has been bravely facing its footwear competition since the beginning of its operations. The company was founded in 1913. It sells app. 180 mln pairs of shoes in 4,000 shops every year. Deichmann employs nearly 40,000 people. The construction of Galeria Libero is on schedule. Advanced commercialization process is conducted regardless of the progressing construction work. Nearly 80 pct of Libero"s retail area has been leased. Libero is characterized by its excellent location at the junction of Kościuszki Street and Kolejowa Street, which are used by over 15,000 vehicles per hour at peak times.
