A bilingual nursery school including a crèche is to start its operations in the West Link office building in September 2018 and it will be operated exclusively for employees of Nokia. The facility will be able to service 125 children, who will be looked after while their parents are at work.
“Nokia has always put a lot of emphasis on family-oriented policy. We have been continuously addressing expectations of our employees, a large group of which are young parents, that is why we decided to use the potential of the new building and create a nursery school and a crèche. Thus we are even more pleased about the fact that we are the first employer in the region to have undertaken the execution of such a large project,” explains Bartosz Ciepluch, director of Nokia European Software and Engineering Centre in Wrocław. Partners of the enterprise is KiDS&Co. – an all-Poland operator specializing in opening and operating nursery schools and crèches as well as Echo Investment – the developer responsible for the construction of the office building. “We design all our projects with the comfort to future users in mind. As early as at the stage of signing a lease with Nokia we discussed the opening of a nursery school in the West Link building, which would provide employees" children with loving care while making it easier for parents to organize everyday childcare. We wanted the task to be executed b an experienced operator, thus the choice of KiDS&Co.,” explains Katarzyna Kubicka, regional director at Echo Investment"s Office Department. The nursery school for Nokia will be operated in accordance with the author"s programme of KiDS&Co., utilizing the method of early immersion in English, which is close to the way babies and toddlers learn to speak their mother tongue. It is also an extended development programme regarding social skills and emotional intelligence, which helps develop such abilities as: listening and focusing, controlling behaviour and emotions as well as building good relations with the environment. “Thanks to our cooperation with Nokia and Echo Investment we have a possibility to open another modern facility which meets high requirements of our client,” comments Karina Trafna, president of the board at KiDs&Co. West Link, the building where the nursery school is to be opened, is an A-class office building with a total area of over 14,000 sqm. The project is carried out in Wrocław"s Fabryczna district and it has been fully leased by Nokia. The completion of the office building is planned for the end of March 2018. West Link is the subject of a preliminary sales contract with Griffin Premium RE.
