ZF, one of the largest sub-suppliers in the automotive industry, has officially opened its new seat in Łódź. Its Electronics Engineering Centre will occupy over 2,300 sqm in the Symetris Business Park complex, one of the most modern office projects in Łódź, which is carried out by Echo Investment and is currently included in the portfolio of Echo Polska Properties.

ZF is one of global leaders in the drive technology, chassis, as well as active and passive safety systems. In May 2015 the corporation included TRW Automotive in its structures. The combined companies currently employ over 136,000 people in 230 locations in 40 countries in the world. ZF is one of the largest suppliers of the automotive industry in the world. Its Electronics Engineering Centre will occupy more than 2,300 sqm in the Symetris Business Park office building and it will be involved in the design of electronic safety systems for the automotive industry, cooperating with other ZF research and development units: the existing centre in Częstochowa as well as others located all over the world including the USA, Germany, England, China and India. “The presence of ZF TRW in Symetris Business Park confirms that our project offers top quality workspace while our involvement in the development of Łódź market produces effects,” says Paweł Milcarz, senior leasing manager in Echo Investment"s Office Department. “We put a lot of emphasis not only on development but also comfort of our staff. We are planning to employ nearly 200 engineers of electronics and IT specialists. We rented the modern office in Symetris Business Park with them in mind, because it meets top standards and guarantees comfortable working conditions. The convenient location of the complex for residents of entire Łódź is also important,” adds Rafał Zatorski, director of ZF Electronic Engineering Centre in Poland. ZF is another renowned brand which appreciated the standard and location of Symetris Business Park. Apart from the ZF Electronics Engineering Centre the complex will include offices of Solar Polska, Nordea Bank and Philips Polska.
Symetris Business Park is a modern office complex which consists of two buildings with a combined leasable area of 19,000 sqm, it is located on Piłsudskiego Avenue i.e. the main traffic route that connects the Śródmieście district with two largest districts – Widzew and Retkinia. The office areas in the Symetris Business Park complex meet the highest standards. Each office has raised floors, floor cable boxes, suspended ceilings, friendly lighting, some and temperature sensors, air-conditioning and ventilation as well as large windows with blinds which make it possible to control access to the natural light. The building is BREEAM-certified.
