“Comfort and functionality, which the investor of Galeria Libero focused on, make the concept of Delikatesy Alma integrate well with the project,” says Mariusz Wojdon, vice-president of the board at Alma Market, which has leased an area of nearly 1,900 sqm in Echo Investment’s project in Katowice.
“We have signed a lease in the newly-built shopping centre in Katowice, which is located in the most dynamically developing part of the city. We can see a lot of potential in this district as regards our next shop in Katowice because this is where we have so far been operating our only Delikatesy Alma. We are also satisfied with the area we were offered in the facility, the location of the delicatessen on the ground floor, directly next to an exit from the car park will allow our customers to shop quickly and conveniently, which is crucial these days,” adds Mariusz Wojdon. “We have chosen Alma because it has operated in this part of the city for many years. It is a recognizable and popular brand among residents of Katowice. I am sure that Alma"s customers, who are used to top quality and a broad range of products, will appreciate the offer as well as the architecture and functional solutions in Galeria Libero. The choice of this concrete retailer was determined also by the location of Libero. I mean the proximity of some of the most popular districts in Katowice, which are characterized by high purchasing power,” says Marcin Materny, director of Echo Investment"s Shopping Centre Department. Galeria Libero will be built on a plot with an area of 54,000 sqm. The facility will offer a retail and entertainment area of 42,000 sqm which will be located on three floors. Apart from shops and service outlets as well as some of the most important chains and a supermarket, the shopping centre will also include a very extensive entertainment and gastronomy offer which will consist of a 7-screen cinema, a snooker club, a play area for children, squash and badminton courts, restaurants offering access to a terrace. The facility is to be developed on ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki – one of the most important traffic routes in the city. The MOFO Architekci architectural studio is the author of the design of Galeria Libero. The investor will soon announce results of a competition concerning the development of a public square which is to be located in front of Galeria Libero. www.galerialibero.pl
