Ciklum which operates in the IT industry and services markets in over 30 countries has signed a lease concerning an office area in the Tryton Business House office building in Gdańsk.
The company"s plans envisage employing about 130 IT specialists in 2016. “One of key factors determining the choice of the place for a branch of such a large global company is a prestigious location in the inner city centre. Thanks to this the specialists can focus on their tasks in comfortable working conditions and when they leave work they find themselves in an inspiring and thriving environment,” believes Kornelia Łukaszewska, who is responsible for the commercialization of Tryton in Gdańsk. Ciklum"s employees will be able to use an office area of app. 1,000 sqm. The company has 15 branches all over the world and it employs nearly 2,500 people. In Gdańsk they will mostly be responsible for extending cooperation with clients and software development according to the globally used technologies (PHP, .Net, Java, Mobile Technologies, QA practices). “Thanks to its stable economic conditions, specialist staff and open business culture Poland is an attractive country for companies from the IT outsourcing industry. We will be servicing EU and Eastern Europe clients from hear,” says Alexandre Yakovlev, branch manager Ciklum. “The location of Gdańsk was important when we were choosing the location as well as the flexibility of Echo Investment, thanks to which we managed to secure all our company"s needs in the negotiation process,” adds Alexandre Yakovlev. According to Mariusz Wiśniewski, CBRE expert, potential tenants of office space pay attention to elements which go beyond the standard e.g. developed public transport, proximity of retail and cultural services and the option of displaying their logos. “Ciklum is the third client of CBRE which has decided to locate their business in the Tryton building. “The company represents the industry which has observed the highest employment growth for many years so securing an area for further expansion was also important,” said Mariusz Wiśniewski, head of CBRE"s TriCity branch. Tryton Business House is a modern A-class office building which offers an area of 22,000 sqm. The facility is being developed at the junction of the streets: Jana z Kolna and Wały Piastowskie. The office building will have its own underground car park including spaces for 262 cars. The design, which was created by the Gdynia-based architectural studio Arch-Deco, also includes 72 covered parking spaces for bicycles.
