Allegro to move to Q22
Allegro to move to Q22

Allegro has decided to move its Warsaw office to the Q22 building. Its new seat will occupy an area of 7,600 sqm. This is another company acquired by the developer and investor of the facility – Echo Investment. The company was supported by Knight Frank experts in the process of looking for the new location.

The Q22 office building is filling up with tenants. The modern area of the building does not only attract foreign businesses but also Polish ones. The e-commerce leader, Allegro, will be one of the largest tenants in the skyscraper on al. Jana Pawła II. Q22 will be the only office of the company in Warsaw. “Warsaw is one of our key locations. Like in other cities where we have our offices: Poznań, Toruń, Kraków and Wrocław, we invest in modern and innovative office space also in Warsaw. We believe that our new office in Q22 will inspire and support our staff"s creativity. In terms of sourcing and holding onto the best experts on the market, an office like the one which we are planning to open in Q22 is also important for new technology companies, particularly of a similar profile as Allegro,” says Paweł Klimiuk, director of corporate communication at Allegro. Allegro, which is part of the Naspers group from the Republic of South Africa, is one of the most dynamically developing electronic trade platforms in Central Europe. According to an industry research carried out by PBI/Gemius Megapanel, the Allegro.pl portal is visited by nearly 14 mln users every month. “Our project is a combination of modern style, unique architecture and prime location. Its main assumption is to offer top standards, thus its name – Q22, which symbolizes a new quality. Its tenants confirm the reputation and prestige of the project. That is why I am even more pleased that we have managed to finalize the contract with this exceptionally demanding client. I am sure that Allegro"s staff will be able to fully appreciate the solutions offered by us, which will measurably translate into comfortable working conditions,” comments Michał Żelski, senior leasing manager from Echo Investment"s Office Department. Allegro was supported by Knight Frank"s experts in the search for its new location. “There is currently a large selection of office projects on the Warsaw market. Allegro decided to relocate to the Q22 building because of its excellent location and high quality. Due to its development our client has been increasing the number of its employees in Warsaw, that is why we looked for a building which on top of a sufficiently large area could provide attractive and innovative service facilities for such a thriving company as Allegro,” says Bartek Włodarski, director in the Tenant Representation Department at Knight Frank. Q22 is a 155-metre modern office building which is being developed in the business centre of Warsaw, at the junction of Jana Pawła II Avenue and Grzybowska Street. It offers a leasable office area of over 50,000 sqm. Its modern, bright structure was designed by architects from the Kuryłowicz & Associates architectural studio. As befits a prestigious project in an excellent location, Q22 will include a huge, elegant and glazed lobby. Its 14th floor is earmarked for special functions such as e.g. a conference centre and a fitness club while the restaurant area will be located on the first floor. Its five-storey underground car park will offer 348 spaces to Q22 users. There will also be bicycle parking spaces, changing rooms and showers for cyclists. Q22 obtained a BREEAM Interim Excellent ecological certificate with one of the highest scores in this category in Poland (nearly 80 pct). The investor and developer of the building is Echo Investment.
