Galeria Amber, which was developed by Echo Investment in Kalisz, won the Shopping Centre of the Year 2015 category in the Retail Awards competition of the Polish Council of Shopping Centres [PRCH].
The awards gala of the PRCH Retail Awards competition took place on the 15th of October this year in Warsaw. The Polish Council of Shopping Centres awarded the best shopping centres and marketing campaigns for the sixth time. The award for Galeria Amber was received Marta Kostyk, director of the facility. Galeria Amber is a three-storey retail and entertainment facility located in the centre of Kalisz near the main bus and railway stations, at the junction of Górnośląska Street and Trasa Bursztynowa. It is the largest project of its kind in the Kalisz and Ostrów conurbation which has a population of nearly 350,000 inhabitations. Its leasable area amounts to 33,500 sqm. The group of tenants of Galeria Amber includes: E.Leclerc, Helios, Fitness Club Fabryka Formy, H&M, C&A, New Yorker, Reserved, Intersport, RTV Euro AGD, Home&You, Smyk, Empik, Deichmann, CCC, Mohito, Sinsay, Cropp Town, House, Orsay, Monnari, Kazar, Ryłko, Wojas, Ecco, Matras, Vistula, Lavard, Pierre Cardin, Ochnik, Yes, Vision Express, SunLoox, a w branży gastronomicznej m.in. KFC, McDonald"s, Olimp and North Fish. The facility includes a hypermarket and nearly 120 shops and service outlets as well as cafes and restaurants and a 7-screen Helios cinema. Customers can use app. 1,000 parking spaces.
