The Małe Naramowice estate in Poznań, which was developed by Echo Investment, was distinguished by the Bryła.pl portal, which created a ranking of top 10 residential projects in Poland which are examples of good and friendly architecture.
“We have chosen 10 estates which delight us. They are really interesting examples of good and people-friendly architecture,” writes the Bryła.pl portal.
The most interesting residential projects from different cities include Małe Naramowice in Poznań.
“It is an estate for people who would like to live in a small town without giving up on the big city life. The estate in Poznań, which has been designed by the ARE architectural studio of Jakub Wacławek and Grzegorz Stiasny, was inspired by Dutch designs. Architects reached for designs of small estates which function independently of a large city to a certain extent. They have their own market square offering shops and services while small houses are located along narrow, local streets amongst greenery. Małe Naramowice is located in the northern part of the city, it has its own market square which is surrounded by houses – tenement buildings the forms of which combine modern design and the atmosphere of traditional small-town development. The houses around the square are faced with multi-coloured brick and covered with pitched roofs, they include retail and service outlets on the ground floor so as to make the local life thrive here. The further away from the market square, the less sophisticated the development but the houses are still small and they are situated amongst greenery,” writes the Bryla.pl portal.
