The Galeria Amber shopping and entertainment centre, which was developed by Echo Investment in Kalisz, was awarded a BREEAM Final certificate with the ‘Very Good’ rating and the highest score in Poland in this category – 63.5 pct.

“In mid-2013 we obtained a BREEAM Interim certificate for Galeria Amber with the "Very Good" rating. The document enabled us to apply for the BREEAM Final Certificate, which is awarded when a facility has been completed in accordance with the requirements declared at the interim stage. I can say with great satisfaction that we made every endeavour and managed not only to confirm the very good grade but also obtain the highest score among retail projects on the Polish market,” says Rafał Kornatko, project manager in Echo Investment"s Shopping Centre Department. Echo Investment"s portfolio already includes 13 BREEAM-certified buildings, they are: Galeria Amber, Galaxy in Szczecin, Galeria Olimpia in Bełchatów and Galeria Echo in Kielce. Office projects: Tryton Business House, West Gate, Q22, two Park Rozwoju buildings in Warsaw, Aquarius Business House in Wrocław, the 1st and the 2nd stage of A4 Business Park in Katowice as well as Oxygen in Szczecin (2 BREEAM In-Use certificates: Building Management and Asset Rating).
