West Gate, an office building developed by Echo Investment in Wrocław, which is 100-pct leased, has obtained a certificate of occupancy.

The construction of the project started in autumn 2013. The office building was fully leased as soon as the end of 2014. Its commercialization process was finished thanks to contracts signed with Aviva and a company representing the financial consultancy industry operating under the Expander brand (a total of 500 sqm). The anchor tenant of the office space in West Gate is Nokia Networks (14,000 sqm). The building will also include the new seat of Deichmann Obuwie Sp. z o.o. (1,200 sqm), an Enel-Med medical centre (300 sqm) and a canteen operated by K&D Foods (320 sqm).
In February this year West Gate obtained a BREEAM Excellent certificate, which is only held by a dozen or so office projects in Poland. The building had a high score of 72.8 pct. The elements which were taken into consideration included: energy efficiency, materials used, healthy working environment and waste management. West Gate is a modern A-class building which offers 16,200 sqm of office space. The project is located on Lotnicza Street, at the junction of Na Ostatnim Groszu Street and Legnicka Street, which guarantees excellent exposure of the building. The author of West Gate"s architectural design is the ARCAD architectural studio of Kielce. The facility consists of six above-ground floors (offices) and two underground ones (the car park). It has been designed as an L-shaped compact building. Its facade is dominated by large glazed areas, thanks to which the offices have optimal access to natural light. The office building will be equipped with an access control system, quick and quiet lifts, energy-efficient air-conditioning and ventilation systems, a humidity control system, suspended ceilings, raised floors and an eco-friendly lighting system. Bike racks, changing rooms and showers for cyclists are also planned. West Gate users will be able to use a canteen and some areas suitable for relaxation outdoors. www.westgatelotnicza12.pl
