Galeria Sudecka in Jelenia Góra, which was developed by Echo Investment, was opened on the 29th of April.

The opening of the largest shopping and entertainment centre in Jelenia Góra enjoyed a lot of interest among residents. “Galeria Sudecka fits in with the current trend on the market of retail space, which involves revitalization and extension of existing shopping centres. The Echo shopping centre was built in 2000 as the first and, for many years, the largest facility of its kind in Jelenia Góra. After its extension Galeria Sudecka offers access to the broadest retail and entertainment offer in the region: a Real hypermarket, a Helios cinema, the largest Fabryka Formy fitness club in the town and nearly 100 shops and service outlets. In the next stage, in 2016, we are planning to open a Leroy Merlin DIY market. We already have a building permit and the construction work is to start in H2 this year. The next step will involve the construction of a retail park offering home furnishing products. It is our aim to develop a facility which will fully respond to the needs of residents of the entire region,” says Marcin Materny, director of Echo Investment"s Shopping Centre Department. Galeria Sudecka is being developed in the Zabobrze district. The centre offers 100 shops, restaurants and service outlets, as well as a multi-screen Helios cinema with a cafe and bar area and a Fabryka Formy fitness club, which is the largest is the town. The commercialization process of Galeria Sudecka is finished. Echo Investment has recently signed contracts with: the C&A chain (1,200 sqm), Szachownica, Orsay, Bytom, Magnetic and Medicine, Aquael ZOO, Pawo, Badura,Prezenciarnia, Simple and Vision Express.
