Outlets of the Swedish Jula chain and the Komfort chain are to be opened in Galeria Echo in Kielce. The new tenants do not just extend the offer of the facility but they also constitute an important stage of the revitalization of Galeria Echo, which will involve marking off a hypermarket section and a fashion section.
“Acquiring such popular and appreciated brands as Jula and Komfort is an effect of our strategy which involves enhancing the offer of our shopping centres in operation. We respond to customers" expectations by extending the range of products available in Galeria Echo. It is also a response to changing market trends, as a result of which operating and well-tried shopping centres acquire new functions through the introduction of brands making debuts in individual cities and towns, the Jula chain being an example of this. The opening of Jula in Galeria Echo is also connected with the marking off the hypermarket area and the fashion area. The first one will include Tesco Extra, the Jula supermarket and some service outlets. The second one will be focused on fashion, entertainment and gastronomy,” says Marcin Materny, director of Echo Investment"s Shopping Centre Department.
Examples of revitalization activities in the projects from Echo Investment"s portfolio include the renovation of the interior of the Galaxy shopping and entertainment centre and extension plans regarding the facility. The developer is also planning the redevelopment of the interior of Pasaż Grunwaldzki as well as the construction of a retail park next to the Echo shopping centre in Bełchatów.
