Echo Investment, which is being developed Galeria Sudecka in Jelenia Góra, signed a letter of intent with Agata Meble. It concerns the opening of an Agata Meble shop with an area of nearly 10,000 sqm.

The shop of Agata Meble is to be opened in the second stage of the construction of a retail park, which will provide customers of Galeria Sudecka with a comprehensive range of interior design and furnishing products. It will be the largest furniture shop in Jelenia Góra region. “The offer of Agata Meble fits in with our vision of a retail park which will also include Leroy Merlin and Komfort shops. We are conducting negotiations with other tenants, including the largest chain offering bathroom furnishing products,” says Marcin Materny, director of Echo Investment"s Shopping Centre Department. Agata Meble is one of the largest and oldest distributors of furniture and interior design products in Poland. Agata Meble operates 16 large-format showrooms located in some of the largest cities in Poland. The company cooperates with key manufacturers of furniture and decorative accessories from all over the world. Apart from furniture the Agata Meble shops also offer decorations, lamps and textiles under the Agata Home brand as well as kitchen design and furnishing systems under the Agata Kuchnie brand. Galeria Sudecka is 94-pct commercialized. Echo Investment has recently signed contracts with the Carry chain (1,000 sqm) and Super-Pharm (500 sqm). Galeria Sudecka is being developed in the Zabobrze district at the site of the Echo shopping centre which has been open for over 13 years. The centre is planned to include 100 shops, restaurants and service outlets, as well as a multi screen Helios cinema with a cafe and bar area and a Fabryka Formy fitness club. Apart from an Auchan hypermarket, a Helios cinema and a Fabryka Formy fitness club tenants of Galeria Sudecka will include Reserved, Go Sport, Carry, Super-Pharm, Empik, Smyk, RTV Euro AGD, House, Mohito, Sinsay, Cropp Town, Diverse, Top Secret, Monnari, Gino Rossi, Wólczanka, Ochnik, CCC, Wojas, Ryłko, Triumph, Lee Wrangler, Big Star, Martes Sport, 4F, Apart, Yes, Matras, Molton, Vision Express, Wójcik, Jupi Park, North Fish, Thai Restaurant, Kuchnia Polska, Berlin Doner Kebap, Grycan and others. The design of Galeria Sudecka provides for a retail area of 50,000 sqm. A mall including shops, boutiques, services and the first cinema multiplex in town is to be built first. The final stage of Galeria Sudecka will involve a two-phase construction of a retail park which will include a Leroy Merlin DIY supermarket with a total area of 15,000 sqm, among other things. Customers of Galeria Sudecka will be able to use over 1,800 parking spaces.
