During the Shopping Center Forum fair in Warsaw Echo Investment signed a contract with Super-Pharm, on the basis of which the first outlet of the chain is to be opened in Jelenia Góra.
Super-Pharm in Galeria Sudecka will have an area of over 500 sqm.“Super-Pharm is another large chain which chose Galeria Sudecka to be the location of its debut in Jelenia Góra. It is very good news not only for us as the developer but first of all for residents, who will be able to use the offer of Super-Pharm,” says Marek Gładki, director of the commercialization and marketing team in Echo Investment"s Shopping Centre Department. Super-Pharm is a chain of drugstore outlets which combine a pharmacy, a chemist shop and a perfumery in one place. The chain has been present on the Polish market for over 13 years. The company was established in Canada and in 2000 Super-Pharm started its expansion on the European market. The first outlet of the chain was opened in Warsaw in May 2001. Galeria Sudecka is currently 92-pct commercialized. Echo Investment has recently signed contracts with the Carry chain (1,000 sqm), among others. Galeria Sudecka is being developed in the Zabobrze district at the site of the Echo shopping centre which has been open for over 13 years. It will be the first shopping and entertainment centre in the Jelenia Góra region. The centre is planned to include 100 shops, restaurants and service outlets, as well as a multi-screen Helios cinema with a cafe and bar area and the largest Fabryka Formy fitness club in the town. Apart from an Auchan hypermarket, a Helios cinema and a Fabryka Formy fitness club, tenants of Galeria Sudecka already include: Reserved, Go Sport, Carry, Empik, Smyk, RTV Euro AGD, House, Mohito, Sinsay, Cropp Town, Diverse, Top Secret, Monnari, Gino Rossi, Ochnik, CCC, Wojas, Ryłko, Triumph, Lee Wrangler, Martes Sport, 4F, Rossmann, Apart, Yes, Matras, Wójcik, Jupi Park, North Fish, Thai Restaurant, Kuchnia Polska, Berlin Doner Kebap and Grycan.In the design of Galeria Sudecka the investor planned a retail area of 50,000 sqm. The first one to be built will be an arcade of shops, boutiques and service outlets as well as the first cinema multiplex in the town. The final stage of the construction of Galeria Sudecka will involve a two-stage construction of a retail park including a Leroy Merlin DIY supermarket with a total area of 15,000 sqm.
