Echo Investment has signed an agreement with the mayor of Jelenia Góra concerning the purchase of an investment plot near Galeria Sudecka. On the plot with an area in excess of 51,000 sqm the developer will carry out the first stage of a retail park including a Leroy Merlin DIY supermarket and a car park offering nearly 500 spaces.

The signing of the documents took place on the 11th of September at the Town Hall in Jelenia Góra. “I am very happy that Echo Investment carries out individual construction stages of Galeria Sudecka competently and consistently. The facility which is being carried out in the Zabobrze district is an important element of the investment development of Jelenia Góra, which provides for the construction of modern commercial facilities and creating new jobs. Galeria Sudecka is being developed in the Zabobrze district at the site of the Echo shopping centre which has been open for over 13 years. The centre is planned to include 100 shops, restaurants and service outlets, as well as a multi screen Helios cinema with a cafe and bar area and a Fabryka Formy fitness club. The project is 91-pct commercialized. Apart from an Auchan hypermarket, a Helios cinema and a Fabryka Formy fitness club tenants of Galeria Sudecka will include Reserved, Carry, Go Sport, Empik, Smyk, RTV Euro AGD, House, Mohito, Sinsay, Cropp Town, Diverse, Top Secret, Monnari, Gino Rossi, Ochnik, CCC, Wojas, Ryłko, Triumph, Lee Wrangler, Martes Sport, 4F, Rossmann, Apart, Yes, Matras, Wójcik, Jupi Park, North Fish, Thai Restaurant, Kuchnia Polska, Berlin Doner Kebap, Grycan and others. The design of Galeria Sudecka provides for a retail area of 50,000 sqm. A mall including shops, boutiques, services and the first cinema multiplex in town is to be built first. The final stage of Galeria Sudecka will involve a two-phase construction of a retail park which will include a Leroy Merlin DIY supermarket with a total area of 15,000 sqm, among other things.
