Galaxy in Szczecin is the best location for shopping, according to a nationwide research regarding ‘the quality of consumer experience’ in shopping centres, the winner of which is the GALAXY shopping and entertainment centre developed by Echo Investment in Szczecin.

Galaxy in Szczecin provides the greatest shopping experience, states a ranking developed by the Sana Consulting research and training company. The ranking is based on the results of the research carried out from May until July 2014, which commissioned by Evigo – the publisher of the Shopping Center Poland magazine and the Retailnet.pl portal. The research included 150 largest retail facilities in Poland. It examined the quality of consumer experience in individual shopping centres. The Galaxy shopping centre obtained 95 out of 100 points and it came first. The best ratings resulted from high scores for various areas of shopping centre functioning that ensure speedy and smooth shopping experience. The elements which were examined included the comfort of the car park and the competence and helpfulness of the shopping centre staff. Points were also awarded for the intuitive navigation around the facility, a centre information system as well as the clarity and ease of navigation on the website. “We are very happy with the first place in the ranking, even more so because our competitors were the largest shopping centres in Poland. I would like to emphasize that Galaxy"s victory is an effect of 10-year joint effort of tenants and the team that manages the facility. Customer satisfaction is our common, ultimate goal – we ensure it through streamlining the shopping process and making the time spent in our centre more pleasant. We pay a lot of attention to a direct contact between the staff working for companies servicing Galaxy and customers. People who work in the information point, the car park service office, the cleaning service and the security are regularly trained in this respect,” says Czesław Jasiewicz, director of the Galaxy shopping centre in Szczecin. Galaxy is the most popular shopping and entertainment centre in West Pomeranian region. Its leasable area amounts to 42,000 sqm. In Galaxy customers can choose from 170 shops representing various industries, a multi-screen cinema and a Real hypermarket. The facility has been designed by the OTH architectural studio and it was opened in 2013. In 2010 the project was awarded a prize in the "Shopping Centre of the Year – Management and Operation" category by the Polish Council of Shopping Centres.
