Galeria Sudecka will soon be available to retailers

The construction of the largest shopping and entertainment centre in Jelenia Góra has entered the next stage, acceptance of the area by retailers is to start in July this year. Helios will be the first company to start the fit-out work.

The construction of Galeria Sudecka is on schedule. Nearly 300 people are currently working at the building site, they are completing the construction of the cinema floor. The process involving the acceptance of the area by retailers is to start in a few weeks. The Helios cinema will be the first one to start the fit-out work. “According to our observations, one cinema multiplex completely satisfies the market demand in towns with a population of app. 100,000 inhabitants. We also know that other operators such as e.g. Cinema City, Multikino or Cinema 3D are not planning to open any cinemas in Jelenia Góra, thus Helios will start its operations in Galeria Sudecka before the end of this year and there is no space for two facilities of this kind in this town,” says Marcin Materny, director of the Shopping Centre Department. The opening of Galeria Sudecka is planned for Q4 2014. Galeria Sudecka is being developed in the Zabobrze district at the site of the Echo shopping centre which has been open for over 13 years. It will be the first shopping and entertainment centre in the Jelenia Góra region. The centre is planned to include 100 shops, restaurants and service outlets, as well as a 7-screen Helios cinema with a cafe and bar area. The commercialization of the project amounts to 70 pct. The investor has planned a retail area of 45,000 sqm in the design of Galeria Sudecka. The first one to be built will be a mall including shops, boutiques and service outlets as well as the first in the town 7-screen Helios cinema. The final stage of Galeria Sudecka development will be the construction of a retail park which will include a large format DIY shop, among others. Its customers will be able to use over 1,800 parking spaces. Tenants of Galeria Sudecka will include the shops of the LPP group (Reserved, House, Mohito, Cropp Town and Sinsay), as well as RTV Euro AGD, GoSport, Martes Sport, Smyk, Empik, CCC, Wojas, Top Secret, Diverse, Rossman, Yes, Matras, Świat Zabawek, North Fish, Kuchnia Polska, Thai Restaurant and others.    www.galeriasudecka.pl
