Next stage of construction at Galeria Sudecka

Echo Investment has finished the selection of contractors responsible for individual works at the construction of Galeria Sudecka in Jelenia Góra. The construction of the facility is progressing according to schedule; its opening is planned for October this year.

“We have contracted all the packages of construction and assembly work in Galeria Sudekca in accordance with the budget and time limits,” says Janusz Tamioła, director of the implementation team at Echo Investment"s Shopping Centre Department. The company has signed contracts with: Schindler Polska – concerning the supply and assembly of lifts and escalators, Elektromont SA is to carry out the electrical installations, Silbud – the sprinkler system, Flakt Bovent will be responsible for the jet fan system, Polonez Plus will deal with sanitary installations, Honeywell – with automation and BMS while Ekotechnika Plus will carry out the roofing. The contract regarding the finishing work in the facility is to be signed soon. The contractor of the shell of the building is Eiffage Polska Budownictwo S.A. The final work regarding the construction of the ceiling above the car park and +1 level is currently in progress. Galeria Sudecka is being developed in the Zabobrze district at the site of the Echo shopping centre which has been open for over 13 years. It will be the first modern shopping and entertainment centre in Jelenia Góra region. The centre is planned to include 100 shops, restaurants and service outlets, as well as a multi-screen Helios cinema with a cafe and bar area and a fitness club. The project is nearly 80-pct commercialized. The investor has planned a retail area of 45,000 sqm in the design of Galeria Sudecka. The first one to be built will be a mall including shops, boutiques and service outlets as well as the largest cinema in the town. The final stage of Galeria Sudecka development will be the construction of a retail park which will include a large format DIY shop, among others. Its customers will be able to use over 1,800 parking spaces. Tenants of Galeria Sudeckal include: the shops of the LPP group (Reserved, House, Mohito, Cropp Town and Sinsay) as well as RTV Euro AGD, Go Sport, Martes Sport, Smyk, Empik, CCC, Wojas, Top Secret, Diverse, Rossmann, Yes, Matras, Świat Zabawek, North Fish, Kuchnia Polska and Thai Restaurant. www.galeriasudecka.pl
