Echo Investment is going to redevelop of the section of Galeria Olimpia which includes an interior furnishing and decoration centre within this year. Some new shops will also be opened in the largest shopping and entertainment centre in Bełchatów.

The changes concern the former Echo shopping centre which is to be transformed into a retail park specializing in interior furnishing and decoration products. The renovation will include outlets, the facade and additional entrances to the building. The investor has already received a building permit. “In this way we want to adjust this section of the complex to expectations of the local market. The analyses carried out, which are supported by the growing footfall in Galeria Olimpia as well as tenants" high turnover, confirm us in our belief that the interior design offer will enjoy a great interest among customers. We conduct advanced negotiations with chains including Komfort and JYSK. As a result of the revitalization Galeria Olimpia will offer a full fashion, entertainment and interior design range of products,” says Marcin Materny, director of Echo Investment"s Shopping Centre Department. The shops that have recently been opened in Galeria Olimpia, which has been in operation since 2012, are: Dzieciaczek, Toxic Jeans and Wójcik. They will soon be joined by Artimex and Euro Apteka. Contracts with Empik and Pepco are also being finalized. Galeria Olimpia is located at 6 Kolejowa Street. Together with the neighbouring Echo shopping centre it creates a functionally combined shopping and service complex with a gross leasable area of 32,900 sqm. It includes two grocery hypermarkets: Tesco and Carrefour, as well as a Nomi DIY supermarket. The general contractor of the facility was Polimex-Mostostal SA. Its design was created in the MOFO Architekci architectural studio. The facility was put into operation in November 2012. Galeria Olimpia includes 85 shops of brands such as: H&M, Reserved, House, Mohito, Cropp, New Yorker, Orsay, Martes Sport, RTV Euro AGD, CCC, Deichmann, Centro, Kari, Ryłko, Wojas, Apart, Reporter, 4F, Adidas, Nike, Diverse, Matras, Douglas, ApiPharm , Loox,  Rossmann, Takko Fashion, Wójcik, Artimex, Toxic Jeans and Dzieciaczek.  The entertainment is provided by a Helios multi-screen cinema.
