Galeria Amber in Kalisz is open

Galeria Amber, which was developed by Echo Investment in Kalisz, started its operations on the 20th of March 2014.

The opening of the largest shopping and entertainment centre in the Kalisz and Ostrów conurbation enjoyed a lot of interest among residents. “We are opening a project which is an example of model cooperation between the investor and the town authorities. Galeria Amber is also an example of a commercialization success in not so easy times on the market. We managed to bring a lot of premiere brands to Kalisz, including: H&M, C&A, New Yorker, Intersport, Superpharm and Simple. Galeria Amber also includes the largest cinema in the town i.e. a 7-screen Helios, an E.Leclerc hypermarket and the largest in Kalisz fitness club – Fabryka Formy, which make its offer unique. Galeria Amber will certainly become not only a favourite place for shopping but also a popular meeting spot, where entire families will be able to enjoy themselves,” says Krzysztof Giemza, proxy at Echo Investment, who officially opened the facility together with Janusz Pęcherz, mayor of Kalisz. Film footage about Galeria Amber is available on Echo Investment"s You Tube channel. Galeria Amber is a three-storey shopping and entertainment centre located in the centre of Kalisz, near the main railway and bus stations, at the crossroads of Górnośląska Street and Trasa Burszytnowa. It is the largest facility of its kind in the Kalisz and Ostrów conurbation which has a population of nearly 350,000 people. It has a leasable area of 33,500 sqm. Tenants of Galeria Amber include: an E.Leclerc hypermarket, Helios, Fitness Club Fabryka Formy, H&M, C&A, New Yorker, Reserved, Intersport, RTV Euro AGD, Home&You, Smyk, Empik, Deichmann, CCC, Mohito, Sinsay, Cropp Town, House, Orsay, Monnari, Kazar, Ryłko, Wojas, Ecco, Matras, Vistula, Lavard, Pierre Cardin, Ochnik, Yes, Vision Express, SunLoox, as well as the KFC, McDonald"s and North Fish restaurants, among others. The facility includes a hypermarket and nearly 140 shops and service outlets, cafes and restaurants. There is also a 7-screen Helios cinema. Customers will be able to use approx. 1,000 parking spaces. The preliminary architectural concept of Galeria Amber was created by Bose International Planning and Architecture. The scope of the work carried out by the architectural studio involved the concept design of the shopping centre and the development of the area around the designed building. The main aim was to create a top quality project which integrates with its surroundings and is characterized by modern architecture at the same time. It was also important to create a new urban area connecting Górnośląska Street and the bus and railway stations. The mall was designed as a multi-storey retail, service and entertainment facility including one floor of an underground car park and two floors of an above-ground car park. The above-ground part of the facility consists of two full retail floors and a partial second floor containing the cinema and the recreational area. The author of the construction plans is the Artur Jasiński i Wspólnicy Biuro Architektoniczne Sp. z o.o. architectural studio and Echo Investment"s team of architects. www.galeria-amber.com.pl
