Second stage of A4 Business Park in Katowice is launched

Echo Investment started the construction of the second stage of the A4 Business Park office complex on Francuska Street in Katowice.

The second stage of the project involves the construction of a 10-storey building with an office area of app. 9,000 sqm and an above-ground multi-storey car park offering 560 spaces. The completion of the building is planned for Q4 2014 while the car park is to be finished in Q1 2014. The contractor of the shell is Remax Construct. A4 Business Park consists of three buildings. The construction of the first one is nearing completion – it is planned for Q1 2014. The 7-storey building which is being developed in the first stage offers 9,000 sqm and has been fully leased by the IT concern IBM, which is to open its office centre in A4 Business Park. A4 Business Park is being developed on Francuska Street in Katowice, near an exit from the A4 motorway. The facility is surrounded by excellent network of public transport – there are numerous bus stops and a railway station nearby. The design of A4 Business Park has been developed by the DDJM architectural studio of Kraków. The A4 Business Park buildings have been designed with care for quality and safety: solid natural materials, the latest technologies, energy-efficient lift and ventilation systems, the access control system and burglary alarm are only a few of the elements which reflect the modern character of the facility. The facility also includes a number of service and retail outlets, cloakrooms and bicycle parking spaces as well as a fitness club and some relaxation areas. In March this year A4 Business Park obtained a BREEAM Interim certificate with a "very good" grade and a very high score of 64.62 pct. www.a4businesspark.pl
