Modzelewski & Rodek Sp. z o.o. has been chosen as the shell contractor of the 155-metre Q22 office building which is being developed by Echo Investment in the business centre of Warsaw, at the crossroads of Jana Pawła II Avenue and Grzybowska Street.
The 155-metre Q22 office building which offers nearly 50,000 sqm of office space is being developed at the site of the demolished Mercure hotel. All the materials acquired during the demolition of the building have been recycled – 1,500 tonnes of steel and 25,000 tonnes of concrete aggregate were obtained in this way. The construction of the underground part of Q22 will start in October and it will last approx. 12 months. The design of the building was created in the renowned Kuryłowicz & Associates architectural studio in cooperation with Buro Happold Polska. The completion of the office building is planned for Q1 2016. The value of the project is PLN 500 mln.
