New clothing brands in Galeria Echo

Terranova, Bialcon, Molton and Modo are the clothing shops which will complement the offer of Galeria Echo in Kielce.

Bialcon (over 70 sqm), Molton (nearly 80 sqm) and Modo (nearly 70 sqm) are the boutiques which have recently opened in Galeria Echo. A 600-sqm salon of the Italian Terranova chain, which offers clothing for the whole family, is to be opened in September. The history of the Terranova brand goes back to 1961 when Vittorio Tadei started his business in Italy. His first company was called Teddy. In 1988 it started producing its own Terranova brand. In 2006 Terranova, which focused on adult customers at the time, decided to launch a new line – Terranova Kids, which offers clothing for children and the youth. Nowadays Terranova has nearly 500 shops in 33 countries. Galeria Echo is one of the largest shopping and entertainment facilities in Poland in terms of the number of shops. Its gross area amounts to 159,000 sqm, of which 70,000 sqm is leasable. Apart from 300 shops and retail outlets its customers can also enjoy an extensive entertainment area including a 12-track bowling alley and the biggest fitness centre in the region, as well as a Helios multi-screen cinema. A huge fun room with an area of 300 sqm has been prepared for the young ones. Its multi-storey car park for 2,300 cars is a showpiece of the facility. It features a system of directing cars to empty spaces as well as a special function of reminding a customer about the location of their parked car.
In 2011 Galeria Echo was considered the best shopping centre in Europe and won a prize in the MAPIC Awards competition during one of the largest commercial property fairs in Europe, which is held in Cannes. The shopping centre in Kielce also won the "New Shopping Centre of the Year 2011 – Poland" title. The project also won the "Retail Market Project of the Year" category in the "Prime Property Prize 2012" competition organized by Propertynews.pl. The facility also won the "Best Shopping Centre Extension of the Year" category in a competition organized by the Polish Council of Shopping Centres in 2012. The design of Galeria Echo"s extension was created in the Detan architectural studio of Kielce whereas the design of the facade and the interior was executed by Warsaw"s architectural studio Open Architekci. Detan sp. z o.o. / OPEN Architekci / and Echo Investment"s team of architects. www.galeriaecho.pl
