A4 Business Park, an ‘A’ class office building, which is being developed by Echo Investment on Francuska Street in Katowice, has obtained a BREEAM Interim certificate with a ‘very good’ grade and a very high score of 64.62 pct.

“I am very happy with the high score of our project in Katowice. We have scored very well at the interim stage. Every effort will be made to confirm it in the Final BREEAM Certificate,” says Igor Grabiwoda, director of the Team of Architects of the Office and Hotel Department at Echo Investment. The A4 Business Park"s certification process is being conducted by Grontmij Polska. In October 2012 another project developed by Echo Investment – Park Rozwoju in Warsaw – obtained a BREEAM Interim certificate with a "very good" grade and the highest score in this category in Poland – 67.83 pct. In November 2012 the Aquarius Business House office building in Wrocław obtained a BREEAM Interim certificate with a "very good" grade and a high score of 64.39 pct. Three other office projects developed by Echo also have GreenBuilding certificates, they are: Oxygen in Szczecin, Park Postępu in Warsaw"s Mokotów district and Astra Park office buildings in Kielce. A4 Business Park is being built on Francuska Street, near an exit from the A4 motorway. The facility is surrounded by an excellent network of public transport – there are numerous bus stops as well as a railway station in the vicinity. The modern office park consists of three buildings and a multi-storey car park. In the first stage the investor will redevelop the road layout and construct the first of the three buildings, which will have an area of 9,000 sqm. The building will have 7 floors and its users will have 153 parking spaces available. The design of the A4 Business Park has been created by the DDJM architectural studio of Kraków. The general contractor of the shell of the first stage is Remax Construct. The completion of the first stage of the A4 Business Park is planned for Q1 2014.
